Am Fuße des Münchner Olympiastadions, in der EM-Fanzone, rollte kürzlich der Ball: An den dort ausgetragenen BFV-Juniorinnen-Turnieren nahmen auch die U15- und U17-Mädels von Freising United teil. Gekickt wurde in einem extra aufgebauten Soccer-5-Spielfeld mit Rundumbande und Netzkäfig. Insgesamt nahmen je Turnier zwölf Teams teil.
Gegen die SG Tegernseer Tal erwischte das Team einen Start nach Maß
Die Freisinger U17-Abordnung erwischte einen perfekten Start und kam zu einem 2:1-Sieg über die SG Tegernseer Tal. Vivienne Greiner hatte in der zweiten Minute mit einem präzisen Schuss ins lange Eck für das 1:0 gesorgt. Kurz darauf erhöhte Josephine Paul auf 2:0. Der Anschlusstreffer der Tegernseer Mädchen in der Schlussminute kam zu spät.
Im zweiten Gruppenspiel mussten die Mädels trotz zahlreicher Chancen ein 0:1 gegen den TV 1868 Burghausen hinnehmen. So kam es im letzten Gruppenspiel zu einem regelrechten Herzschlagfinale um den Gruppensieg. Der war laut Freising-United-Sprecher Christian Greiner nötig, um sicher ins Halbfinale einzuziehen.
Die United-U 17 jedenfalls fegte den SC Pöcking mit 4:1 (je zwei Tore durch Shang Shi und Elina Rastl) vom Platz. In der Endabrechnung reichte der Sieg trotz Punktgleichheit mit Burghausen und dem besseren Torverhältnis aber nur für Rang zwei. Greiner: „Da sich nur der beste Zweitplatzierte aus den drei Gruppen für das Halbfinale qualifizierte, musste man den FC Ergolding mit sieben Punkten den Vortritt lassen.“ Insgesamt belegten die Mädels um Kapitänin Josefine Gangkofer einen respektablen fünften Platz.
Unentschieden gegen Türkenfeld und Nördlingen geholt
Ebenfalls erfreulich lief es auch für die Freisinger U 15, die mit einem sehr jungen Team gegen den TSV Türkenfeld und dem TSV 1861 Nördlingen immerhin zwei Torlose Unentschieden erreichte. Damit holten die Domstädterinnen zwei Punkte und landeten in der Gesamtabrechnung auf Platz acht.
